Fade in to...Silver Screen Sirens
Film and books are my first loves, but I must say television has never been better. The silver screen now has the créme de la créme of quality scripts as well as diverse and talented actors, and with the popularity of Netflix, you have constant access to a slew of fantastic shows! With some kick-ass leading ladies to boot!
I personally am waiting with baited breath for the return of Game of Thrones (reading the books to keep myself sane, I am on A Feast For Crows), and the final series of my long-standing love, Mad Men. My other primarily female-led tv favourites are Orange is the New Black and Scandal, Olivia Pope is my HERO... both satirically and career-wise.
What I love about these particular programs, is the strong women that feature throughout. While admittedly, there is some way to go before we can say, feminism is largely apparent in TV, there has been a notable improvement, and I feel, the writing, and compelling actresses who are deleivering outstanding performances in these roles, are paving the way to something better. All we need now are more of these opportunities (and equal pay!) in the words of Reese Witherspoon;
Easter egg binge-ing is coming to an end but let the TV/laptop/tablet binge-watching commence!

Fade in to... Jamie King Spiritual Style.
Jamie King has been under the media's glare since her early teens, as a hugely successful model-turned actress. I am a big fan of Jaime's ladylike poise, remarkably unique style and amazing approach to motherhood and life. She also stars in one of my favourite films 'Sin City' (Sin City 2 is coming very soon!) and one of my guilty TV pleasures 'Hart of Dixie'. In short, I love her!
I found this great exhibit of who Jamie is, who she was, and how she uses her inner self as a guide here on Amanda De Cadenet's The Conversation.

Fade in to... Friday Fancies.
Here are three items that have made my heart sore this week. My style stalking is still in that bohemian vintage muse vane. Floaty fabrics & florals. All we need now is the weather/a foreign holiday/some festival tickets. Not much of an ask is it..?!

Fade in to... Poppy Delevingne, Boho Style Queen.
Shameless rhyming aside, the wedding pictures emerging from Poppy Delevigne & husband James Cook's (second-leg) of celebrations has made me go all fan-girl crazy.
